Antonio Morano

Huelva, 1943.

He studied at the School of Mining Technical Engineers, a profession he practiced simultaneously with painting, for several years. 

Passionate about art from a very young age, he studied in depth the great Masters of Painting in the main Museums of Europe.

In 1981 Antonio Morano founded (together with five other painters) the Lumen group, carrying out, from then on, various collective and individual explosions and in 1985 he definitively left his profession as a Technical Engineer to dedicate himself fully to Painting.

Works in the Alenquer Museum of Contemporary Art in Lisbon, the Pérez Simón Foundation Art Museum in Mexico City, the Official College of Industrial Engineers, the Embassy of Greece, and the Official College of Pharmacists. Present in various collections in Spain, Colombia, Mexico, the United States, France, England, Germany, Switzerland, Portugal, and Belgium.
