To break, to blossom
To paint, to break and to rebuild. To discover the art of beginning again.
The spontaneity and the magic of nature are the great protagonists of my work. I explore the immensity of time through colour and paper, breaking their limits and playing with light and transparencies. The nakedness of the materials, the contemplation of emptiness and the serenity of flowers are my imagery.
I experience resilience: I paint, I break and I rebuild. Watercolour, subtle and delicate, turns into great sculpture. The beauty of the scars in the work –imperfect and fragile- and the voluptuosness of the paper make me an accomplice of a limitless universe in constant change and transformation.
