Il a remis au go\u00fbt du jour la technique ancestrale du sgraffito, l&#039;a modernis\u00e9e et, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 elle, il triomphe partout o\u00f9 il passe. En quoi consiste cette technique ? C&#039;est assez simple : sur un ch\u00e2ssis en bois, il applique successivement de tr\u00e8s fines couches de pl\u00e2tre \u2013 10, 20, 30 couches \u2013 jusqu&#039;\u00e0 atteindre une quarantaine ou une cinquantaine de couches, toutes extr\u00eamement fines. Il polit le pl\u00e2tre, le peaufine, peint par-dessus, en noir, rouge, blanc, gris\u2026 puis, \u00e0 l&#039;aide d&#039;un poin\u00e7on ou d&#039;un stylet, en grattant le pl\u00e2tre et la peinture, il cr\u00e9e une \u0153uvre unique, singuli\u00e8re et d&#039;une originalit\u00e9 absolue.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>N\u00e9 \u00e0 Cordoue il y a 55 ans, il nous rend visite pour la premi\u00e8re fois.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>R\u00e9compens\u00e9 par la M\u00e9daille d&#039;Honneur du Concours BMW en 2001, son \u0153uvre est pr\u00e9sente dans diverses galeries espagnoles, lors de foires internationales et dans des collections priv\u00e9es, tant en Espagne qu&#039;\u00e0 l&#039;\u00e9tranger. Mais il convient surtout de souligner l&#039;originalit\u00e9 de sa d\u00e9marche, l&#039;actualit\u00e9 de ses th\u00e8mes, sa d\u00e9nonciation sociale et la r\u00e9flexion artistique qui impr\u00e8gne ses \u0153uvres et nous invite \u00e0 la r\u00e9flexion. De petites pi\u00e8ces interd\u00e9pendantes nous permettent d&#039;appr\u00e9hender une \u0153uvre r\u00e9solument novatrice, audacieuse, parfois provocatrice, mais toujours singuli\u00e8re. Elle oscille entre une figuration quasi illustr\u00e9e et une abstraction tr\u00e8s lin\u00e9aire qui ne laisse personne indiff\u00e9rent.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Nous esp\u00e9rons vous voir bient\u00f4t.
