Mariana Álvarez, born in Badajoz but residing in Madrid, is an artist whose work is deeply imbued with a social commitment that invites reflection and awareness. Her career has developed through numerous solo and group exhibitions, as well as her participation in prestigious fairs and competitions both nationally and internationally.

Mariana Álvarez has a solid artistic background that has been key to the development of her unique style. Her studies began at the Ermua Academy of Fine Arts in Bilbao and continued at the Pozuelo de Alarcón Cultural Center. She also trained at the workshop of the Sevillian painter Isabel Blanco and at Pilar Alcázar's Watercolor Workshop in Madrid between 1999 and 2003.

She also studied portrait techniques with the painter Betsy Westendorpf in Madrid and delved deeper into abstract art at the Consuelo Chacón School of Abstract Art Workshop in Pozuelo de Alarcón. His training is complemented by various seminars, such as the Experimental Seminar of Contemporary Art at the UNED in Cuenca, the Conceptual Landscape Seminar at the Provincial Council of Granada and the Conceptual Landscape Seminar "Through the Way" in Santiago de Compostela.
